Whatever next? His and her’s matching anoraks? Is this the first step on that slippery path? (Apologies to anyone reading this with matching anoraks, as I am sure they are very nice!).

I’ve been running in my ASICS Gel AWL’s (all winter long) shoes for a month or two now. Completed 8k today through large puddles and very soggy mud, shoes were caked in mud by the time I got home, but a couple of mins under the tap and they look like new again. I’ve been so impressed with these that I decided to buy my wife a pair as an early Xmas pressie as her ‘summer’ white running shoes were starting to look more mud coloured day by day. Amazingly my wife’s pair of shoes are also self cleaning, after a run she leaves them in the utility room and amazingly they make there way back into the cupboard all clean again. I wonder how that happens???

At least with the size difference there is no chance I can accidentally put the wrong ones on. Mind you seeing them side by side I do struggle to see why both pairs were the same price as I think my wife’s should have been at least 50% cheaper....if not more 😂

They look nice, not heard of AWL’s, could do with a pair of them this weather. I can see what u mean about the price, they could make two pairs of hers from one pair of yours. I’m guessing yours are size 10, hers a size 5....how did I do ?

Very close, 10.5 and 4, and the four is a whole size up for my wife ! Been very impressed with these for keeping my feet dry and for ease of cleaning, but not cheap ! Still, think I would have ruined my other shoes if I hadn’t swapped to these given how wet/muddy it is underfoot at the moment!
