Ran w7r2 today, quite heavy rain, happy I got out there, put on my thin rain jacket, over, short sleeved shirt, shorts, ok to start, then got too hot! 🥵

What do others do? 🤔

Wear as little as possible.........you either get wet from outside or the inside and skin is waterproof.

I’m out tonight. I’m going to squeeze into my husbands golf top. One of these special keep you dry material things. I’ll put a T-shirt underneath and see how I go. It’s 11 degrees here, so not freezing. Was looking at those wee light running jackets, I’ll see

Good luck, hope you dont get too hot! 🥵

That rain jacket, had the effect of making you a running boil in the bag meal 🥵. As mentioned by IannodaTruffe our skin is waterproof 👍

I get wet, just dry your shoes carefully. Lightly stuff with newspaper and place in a warm area, but not in direct heat, works in time for my next run. 😊

I have a really lightweight rain jacket. To be honest I really use it to keep the wind off and stop me getting chilled on my warm up and cool down.

In light to moderate rain I just get wet but in a torrential downpour I probably wouldn't run.

Probably didnt need it on, set of in drizzle really, temp quite mild here, hertfordshire, still, like the running, learning all the time! 😂

Yes am in Essex and it is quite mild.

You never stop learning and every run tells you something about yourself, if you let it

Ran in the rain last night. Just wore my running top & leggings. Totally agree with Iannoda!
