Hello all. My Tom Tom watch measures differently from Strava on my phone. 6k on the watch is 6.5k on the Strava app. That's a big difference! Which one do I believe? Has anyone else had this issue?

It's a pain isn't it. All these gadgets have their own GPS sensors and software. I gave up recording on my phone and my watch at the same time - I stick with my watch data and automatically download it to strava. Right or wrong, at least it should be a consistent measure.
You could have a look at the maps from each and see where they differ. It could just be one specific GPS black spot.

Can’t you sync them? The watch will be right

Interestingly this study just popped up on my FB feed (no coincidence of course, talk about FB is watching you!!!)

Interesting but yes it is still a pain. I think the best way is just to choose one and stick with it. I’m reluctantly going with tom-tom on my watch because I’m used to it now and I like to watch the heart rate
