I saw my physio today who said my knee problems relate to my pelvis. He’s given me some exercises to do and said I must not run for the next week to 2 weeks or I will properly injure my knee. I am currently at the end of week five and was planning to run W6R1 tomorrow. When I eventually restart (say in 2 weeks) I am wondering whether I should repeat week five (or potentially even earlier) or try week six in accordance with the existing schedule. Has anyone had a similar experience and how did you approach it? Thanks as always for your support.

I hope you get well soon. Usually people don't lose too much condition if resting for upto 2 weeks. But if you're returning from an injury I'd personally attempt the previous week again.

Rest up plenty and hopefully you'll bounce back soon. I'd stick to the schedule- only because 2 weeks isn't long and because W5 R3 was a slog and a half. lol.
Hope you feel better soon.
