I'm a longtime lurker, infrequent poster but very much enjoy the inspirational and encouraging posts on here. They have kept me going for nearly a year now. I graduated C25K in September but stupidly didn't keep a note of when I started, not realising what a significant thing this would be. I'm guessing mid July will be my runiversary. Did Bridge to 10K, did run 10k, once but didn't really count it as I stopped in the middle! Since then I've just plodded along and lost my mojo a bit but still running 3 ( or 2 ) times a week.Because I'm fundamentally lazy when it comes to exercise I failed miserably to do the additional strength exercises that make you a better runner. Now I have found the joy and fun of intervals I feel inspired to perhaps get some planks etc in too. I guess my whole point in this ridiculously prolonged post is really just to say keep at it. Sometimes you'll not feel like it and not run when you should, don't beat yourself up, just make sure you go next time. Some runs will be rubbish and you'll feel like you've never run before but you're doing it and that's what counts. Some runs will be amazing and you'll feel like you're Mo Farah....well maybe not quite but a decent runner. It is posts on here that have inspired me to keep going so I just wanted to say thanks. Keep running, you are amazing.🤗

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it really is a wonderfully supportive forum. I think I just wanted to say something to those of us not necessarily hitting PBs, or entering races yet but still keeping at it though sometimes it's a struggle!😁
