Hi I completed my couch to 5k last year think it was around October November time and I certainly wasn’t fast(still I’m not) I’ve been jogging on the treadmill at my local sports centre over the winter months and I’m still not quick don’t think I ever will be but the fact we get up off the sofa and do it and actually enjoy it now.Getting to the point lol I’ve jogged along the prom again tonight and I loved being outside again love the spring summer it’s great to get outside,I’ve been telling my Labrador that I’ll take her next time.Good luck to everyone doing it I’m now in my early 50s and wish I’d done this years ago when I didn’t creak and groan as much lol 🏃♀️🏃♀️
Enjoying running well jogging 🏃♀️: Hi I... - Couch to 5K
Enjoying running well jogging 🏃♀️
Welcome back outdoors!
Jogging is running... both feet leave the ground at the same time!
Pace doesn’t matter. You’re lapping everyone sat on the couch and you’re faster than the version of you this time last year... there’s never a competition with anyone but yourself.
You have one thing I don’t... I can’t do that treadmill! Well done there. I had a gym induction and I then managed to run 15 minutes before I hit stop, ran home and cancelled my membership😂. Great job getting through that winter.
Happy running.
Haha, yes I’ve had my moments on the treadmill too,it’s lovely being back outside I was nervous thinking yikes it’s light everyone can see me again it’s just amazing I think that I can actually jog for the amount of time that I do,thank you for replying and good luck to you xx
Take the dog 🏃♀️🐾. I started on a treadmill but now run with my border collie on a waistband bungee lead. My run is little more than a walk for him so he has to be disciplined and not pull. If I want a bit of extra help I swap his lead clip from the front of his harness to the back so he can pull a bit which is great for improving your speed.😂🤣
