I actually ran for 25 mins!! If you had told me this in week 1 I would never have believed it.

At school I was never a runner. I hated cross country and would always be the last (or second to last).

I had my second child on December and recently decided to lose weight so joined Weight Watchers. Normally I would join a gym, go for a month or two and then stop. This time round I decided that I didn’t want to pay for membership, rather do something for free. I remembered that I had a C25K app on my phone that I had downloaded years ago and so decided to try it. Day 1 was tough but was determined to stick with it. Now about to start week 7 and I am really enjoying running. Especially enjoyed my “Rocky” moment listening to the theme tune whilst jogging through the streets of Watford.

Running has kept me focussed and believing that I can do anything that I put my mind to.

I would definitely recommend this. Might now sign myself up for a Park Run now 😬.

Yay. Well done. The process does really work doesn't it! I too started running as part of a weightloss program and I'm really enjoying it! I have done swimming and gym in the past but recently it occured to me that I much prefer being out in the fresh air. I'd been doing a lot of regular walking and running seemed like the next logical step!

I've booked in a park run with an experienced friend at the end of my week 8!
