I’ve been running for 2 months snd this week have started to get shin splints. Will a gait analysis help reduce the pain?

Yes, appropriate shoes can help a lot, and a gait analysis will help you choose the right ones. Shin splints are horrible! Good luck!

Yes, very probably. Don't do what I did and ignore them because I've been out for two weeks with shin splints and a groin injury in all likelihood down to running in the wrong shoes (my daughter's old tennis shoes). I had gait analysis done last week, took note of the recommendation then bought online (bit cheeky, but he was trying to steer me towards a pair that cost £120, and this pair which are last year's model cost £45)

I went for a gait analysis, and got shoes... thankfully they were on sale or would have been very expensive... Problem is now my left knee is giving me trouble... I’ve tried kineso tape, but not sure if I’m atrapping it up correctly.
