So regularly running for 30 mins but now I'm getting stiff knees but no pain for a couple of days after. Quick bit of reading suggests "Runners knee" and I've found some exercises to help that - nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/... - and I've started those. The page says expect a couple of weeks to start seeing results.
So should I stop running and just do the exercises for a while, have longer rests between runs, or just keep going 3 days a week.

I’d be interested to hear the consensus of opinion on this..my knee and ankles are a little sore/stiff and I’m due to do run 3 of week 3 this evening. I’m wondering if I should have another days rest or whether I should carry on, taking things extra slowly? I started the same knee/leg strengthening exercises as you yesterday but like you said, it says to expect it to be a couple of weeks before noticing any change x
A bit of stiffness is probably okay. Sounds like you've been running for a while and have an instinct for when you've got niggles. When you start to feel real discomfort when you're running (not during the first few minutes) and if it's "hampering your mobility" sore afterwards then it's probably best to find a sports physio.
Short-term stiff and a bit sore = probably okay, just your body adjusting
"Yikes it's really sore and it hurts when I move" = rest and some professional advice
