Wot she said! Take it steady, remember it’s a gentle jog not a sprint. Keep going, and you’ll get there :)

Remember the benefits when it hurts. You lose weight for sure. Feel alive and after a few weeks start to look forward to it. I did the 10k app a few years back but went off the rails. Starting again from the beginning haha

All the best as you start this journey you will be fine.

There is always lots of support on this forum from people who have been there and who know how you feel.

I am on W7R2 but the most difficult step for me was just getting out the door on that first run. Once you have done that you won’t look back.

Oldfloss says “slow and steady “ and I find that the best tip ever

Happy running

I remember one helpful tip at the beginning - run smoothly so that someone seeing your head over a hedge wouldn’t know you’re running. Keep posting!!

Dont be tempted to eat more to compensate for the exercise. In the early days especially, it feels like a workout but not a great many calories are being burnt.

Don't get into the habit of carrying water for your runs. It is a burden to carry and there really is no need for this. Keep yourself well hydrated everyday. It is the amount you drank yesterday that will be in your system today.

That's a good one... I started off with a little runners hand bottle until I read a post from Ianodatruffe saying water not needed certainly for 30 min runs. It is a burden although it feels like a security blanket too! 😂 much freer without it.

Trust the program and believe in yourself!!!!!

Just do it👍😁

But seriously... read the links, take it steady. Don't be too hard on yourself, remember to breathe and Enjoy it! 😉
