Many people in the Western world think that they are "poor" - but when compared to millions of others living on the planet, they are fabulously wealthy with a lifestyle that these others can't even imagine - like your own bed, a toilet and shower inside the house. running water, electricity, etc, etc. Not to mention a plentiful availability of food which means that 99% of us are fat!! :)

I think a motto for this forum is in there - "Let’s reassure each other of our collective brilliance" ...the section starting there to the end of the paragraph, really. "Tell somebody [...] how their hard work has inspired you to do the same. Let’s notice the brilliance in everybody else and by doing so start to notice our own brilliance." Really thought that described this place.
