Do you like the Graduate badge?

I just wonder what you graduates think of the Graduate badge on the new site? It looks rather insignificant to me, I'm sure it would be easy to add some bling to it, by a colour change, its rather bland in my opinion.

Yes Oldgirl, agree. I only got onto the old site for about 10 days ( I've just started W4 )and then they went and changed everything. While I will be over the moon when I finally graduate and I suppose it shouldn't really matter about the colour, but the old ones really stood out and kind of shouted "Graduate!", but the new ones just look a bit...well,insipid,I think .Maybe the ' powers that be' will address this, there have been big improvements since it started ( well, there needed to be). So,yes ...bring on the bling please .... You grads deserve it !

I agree - I liked the green 'shiny' badges too much more than these dull grey ones.

I think they are just too 'grey' and almost seem to blend into the background. We are proud (very) of being graduates of C25k and want to shout it out!

They need to be more 'obvious', in my humble opinion.

Pink?

Chaps may not want that colour though, how about purple? Lime green? Hi-vis orange?

I think they should put it back to the lovely shiny green we are all proud of . Pat

I liked the green too Pat and it is after all the logo and site's chosen colour too. Hopefully enough people will respond to my question and they will take notice, fingers crossed.

its not very sexy is it?

If I must put my 2 cents in...it IS rather DULL (that light gray just isn't cutting it)...definitely needs COLOR...green would be pretty sporting, don't you think?

I agree its quite dull - it should be a colour to celebrate all our achievements :) maggie

Have sent Lora a message requesting the green one back, will wait and see what happens. The green was so in keeping with the logo and site colours, fingers crossed.

Green would be good. The grey is just so.....well, grey. And our acheivements are anything but grey!

I find it amazing how such a tiny detail can cause such a huge impact, and I doubt that the developers would have ever thought we would all feel so strongly about it.

Don't get me wrong, when I first started C25k and I didn't have any badge I so so so coveted my shiny green graduate badge when I finally earned it - and only a few short days ago we didn't have them at all....

But since it's only cats eyes and emeralds are bright green - I decided to think about the badge slightly differently.

If you tilt your head to he left and semi squint at your screen from a few feet away, you will see that this site upgrade means that all the graduate badges are now made from 100% Platinum

Don't know about you all, but I quite like my platinum graduate badge!

Hahaha you have a vivid imagination but I like it. Still preferred my lovey green badge though.

I've had a reply from Lora who says they have a list of things to work through regarding the site which have to take priority but she will keep in mind our Graduate badges.

I agree with everyones comments about the colour. I was rather disappointed to say the least that after being a volunteer and a graduate since March 2011 I have now been stripped of my graduate badge, because this site will now only allow one badge. Hey ho.

Oh I think that calls for strike action TJ, just not good enough they need to address that issue for sure.

I wonder what plans they have for when someone graduates on C25k & then goes on to complete say the weight loss or the strength & flex program......This sounds like another "design feature" of this new site that hasn't been particularly well thought through!
