Hi andyput I have one and you are right it's not easy to carry and can get quite heavy as well. Have a good day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx

I found a backpack on Amazon designed for POCs (portable oxygen concentrators). It has mesh panels so the air can easily get to the unit....both to cool the unit as well as allowing it access to ambient air to concentrate oxygen. Soooo much easier to use a backpack. I hardly notice the weight at all.

Hi Andyput have you thought of using a luggage trolley? I’m only 5’ so I bought a children’s one and it’s been a godsend. I put a search in on Amazon and this came up. There are lots of them to choose from and some are quite reasonable Barbs x

Ok

Hi Andyput I was the same as you when I first had my oxygen generator it kept slipping off my shoulder so tried wearing it across the body but because of the weight it cut into my neck. My husband searched everywhere for a backpack but he could only get one from America on Etsy about £54. Its a godsend when doing the housework and also when out walking. I hope this helps.

I'm 71, end stage copd living off grid on an island in Alaska and need supplemental oxygen for all the chores necessary. Minimal gardening, fueling, managing the skiff,, etc all every day things needed to live this lifestyle.I bought the Inogen 4 thinking it would work great ! But no way could I lift, pull, bend over all the stuff needed without this thing being in the way.

Sooooo,,I'm a believer " where there's a will there's a way"

I converted a conceal & carry tactical thigh bag and it works great! It's not on my back, it's not in my way. The case buckles around my waist & has a leg strap that keeps it in one place & out of the way.

I got a cannula that is only one side, slips around you ear and fits like a singers microphone but into your nose. Not feeling like I am wearing a bridle !!

Feel like I gained some

Thinking in the lower 48 a person could find a seamstress to design a hands free, COMFORTABLE functional bag.

This has zip pocket where I keep my rescue inhaler, jack knife, cell phone & cannula when not using.

It's pretty cool.

Hope it gives others some ideas

Enjoy the day 😊

Conceal carry tactical bag converted to supplemental oxygen carry bag. 😁

Hi interesting idea that bag. I brought a back pack for the Inogen but not easy to get to the controls when on my back but it does not move about once on.
