Hello, Unfortunately I’m going through the same thing ... my poop is like that too.. thin like my small finger .. i googled And it told me the same thing. It’s pretty scary .. I had Ct scan since I was having belly pains and it came out normal but I’m scared that they can’t see cancer in the colon through ct scan .. I’m here with you ... I’m sorry you’re going through that .. I hope You get back to your normal self !
Hi anonymous_1985 ,I'm sorry that these symptoms are causing you anxiety.
Google can be dangerous because it gives many worse-case scenarios.
Anytime there are changes in your bowel habits, it is a good idea to speak to your doctor. There are many reasons why you could be experiencing these changes in your bowel movements but the only way to get a diagnosis and treatment for whatever is going on, is to see a medical professional.
As hard as it is, try to not let the anxiety get to you too much. (I know that it is a lot easier said than done!). Our GI systems are very sensitive to stress and anxiety and can make symptoms worse.
This site does not offer medical advice, but we are here to share our experience and offer our advice. It should not replace speaking to your doctor. We always recommend that people speak to a medical professional when anything is out of the ordinary. And that includes these changes in the color of your bowel movements, constipation, and the size of the bowel movement.
Try not to be too anxious - but DO make that call! It's the only way to know what is causing your symptoms.

A colonoscopy might help. Are your stools round?
My stools were "D" or crescent-shaped to partial blockage with a polyp, which they sorted while doing the colonoscopy.
