I'd like to bring awareness to Lynch Syndrome, since less than 1.5% of people who have Lynch Syndrome know they have it. Lynch Syndrome is a hereditary cancer syndrome that increases your risk of colorectal and other cancers in a lifetime. If your parent has a gene variant linked to Lynch Syndrome, you have a 50% chance of inheriting it.

Gene mutations linked to Lynch Syndrome:

•MSH1/MHS2: 70-80% estimated lifetime risk

•MSH6/PMS2: 25-60% estimated lifetime risk

•EPCAM

Genetic testing can help you understand your future cancer risks, diagnose possible hereditary cancer syndromes, and discover inherent risks to children/grandchildren. Concierge Health is a provider of clinical-grade multi-gene panel testing for hereditary cancer risk that looks at 40 genes linked to hereditary cancers, including colorectal. You can learn more about testing here: kit.myconciergehealth.org/c....
