Has anyone been informed about new government guidelines for gabapentin? Have you considered stopping taking after researching more thoroughly?

I was prescribed Gabapentin when first officially diagnosed and stopped taking it after a few months because it gave me the worst toothache I have ever experienced - in every tooth in my head - I couldn't see because it was that painful, indescribable! Also my teeth went black- I went to a dentist first and he kindly removed two of my teeth- before I thought perhaps it was the Gabapentin, a week after I stopped, the pain subsided.
