Keeping positive in 2019

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I’ve lived with CMT all of my life. I use a manual wheelchair to get around, use oxygen to sleep and have daily struggles with strength, grip and pain in my hands. But despite the fact that living with CMT is no bowl of cherries, I continue to stay positive and encourage everyone to try and do the same. So in 2019, reach out to those friends and family you’ve been out of touch with (even if you think you pushed people away in the past) listen to some music and sing along (even if your voice is weak and out of tune), get into nature (even if you only have enough energy to sit on a park bench) and live your life to the fullest. To quote Carol King, “you’ve got to get up every morning with a smile on your face and show the world all the love in your heart.” Much luck to you in 2019.
