PIP IS UTTER BULLSHIT
Hang in there I too in similar situation: Almost to the year I get a court date: End of next month: wish me luck: My car went back too in May: missed the top premium too: gutted on all accounts: Hang in there: Some people have no knowledge of Charcot Marie tooth syndrome: yet if you mention muscular distrophy: ah yeh:
So sorry to hear this, we are waiting for my partners answer to PIP he has a motability scooter which he relies on will be appealing if he looses it. His nephew who also has CMT did loose it but appealed went to court and was awarded PIP without question they couldn't believe he hadn't been awarded it! All money back dated. This is what is keeping us going if he loses its we will appeal and will win! Please don't give up hope, it will be OK positive thinking.
Hang in there. I am having same trouble with ESA at the moment after having an indefinite award for that 3 years ago now have to go through the whole scenario again
no no don't give up.keep fighting get as much information as you can, letter from your g.p. consultant, family member any one that knows how c.m.t.effects you on your worse day.it sometimes takes 10 months before court date.but this gives you more time to get all your letters in.keep copies of every thing send them in with your national health insurance number on the back name and address of course.dont give in thats just what they want you to do.wishing you well x
My wife who has C O P D and Asthma had to go to the appeals court after her assessment and that took about 7 month and she fought hard to win her appeal, I have had CMT for about 10 years now and was dreading my PIP app coming through so I collected all medical info and was all ready for my assessment, after 4 weeks I got a call saying I do not need to attend the assessment, then around 2 month later I got my award letter through the post telling me I got the high rate on both Mobility and Daily Living and my next assessment will not be for 10 year's.
