I think most of us do, Tuemericmiraclewoman,

But I know if I do a lot one day because I can, I jolly well pay for it the next day and sometimes the day after that, by being very tired and achieving nothing. The thing is, to plan in advance, which is much easier said than done...

That is me to a T - if I feel good I do stupid things like go cleaning mad in the house when I know I should stagger chores, or lift or shift things that are too heavy for me and by goodness do I suffer the following day - sometimes takes 2 to 3 days to get back to feeling good again. I do have a genetic myopathy as well as possible CMT awaiting tests, but have all the classic (advanced) signs. I have had to learn to plan things and go a lot slower in my daily living, not easy when your mind wants to do things but the body is weak.

Heavens yes! I'll have a good week then be stuck in bed for 4 or 5 days. I never know when the good or bad days or going to hit. I feel great today but if you invite me to lunch on Saturday I may not make it. It may be when one of those flares hit & I don't have the energy to get out of bed. My neurologist said this was normal with CMT. CMT has many side effects. Sad to say.
