last year I contracted bacterial meningitis coma for 8 days have various after effects . The pain in my left knee started after I woke up from coma wasn’t that bad at first , now it’s getting unbearable it feels tight when bending I’ve had several X-rays and scans but they can’t find anything. Have been told it’s muscle wasting. Was perfectly fine before meningitis worked 60 hour weeks . Can no longer work looking for ideas what it could be

if it’s muscle-wasting then you might want to exercise your muscles so that they are stronger. Swimming, walking and so on.

You probably know this already so I’m really wondering, what is your need on this forum?

I’m more venting as I can’t take anymore of this pain and I’m thinking of ending it, not getting anywhere with medical professionals I’m only 41 and have gone from working 60 plus hours a week to not being able to can’t even drive anymore due to the pain ,
