Holiday insurance?

I'm going to Florida in a few weeks to get some sun on my bones , can anyone recommend good travel insurance?

Hello Sue,

If your Bank does insurance, I would try them first.

Failing that, if you have and are able to use the Internet there are plenty of companies that will be found as a result of a Google search.

Please do make sure that you have insurance as the potential for costs are horrendous if things go wrong in the US.

We had insurance through a 'bundle' with our bank at the time of the Iceland Ash Cloud. The insurance paid up in the end but not without a long fight. The bank refused any help whatsoever even though they were, in effect, the insurance brokers. We use LV insurance but have not had to make a claim so don't know how they'd handle it but they are very helpful on the phone.
