I started Bruniska 160 mg daily on January 3, 2025 developed bruised toes and slight rash. Rash is going away bruised toes still present. On Feb 2 had slight fever 100.3° off and on highest 102.6° taking Tylenol and chills. Saw Oncologist Feb 7th Dr did Covid19 test (negative) did chest x-ray showed patchy parenchymal. She prescribe Z-pak antibiotics and then said to stop Bruniska. Feb 10th had swollen eye lids slight painful told to stop antibiotics. I might be having an allergic reaction to the Azithromycin. Took 3 dose of 1day 2-250mg then 2 days 1-250mg . It was a 5day prescription. I have taken Azithromycin in the past with no problems. So, chest xray shows lung infection but have stopped antibiotics and I have not heard from Doctor or the Oncology pharmacy nurse. Feeling okay now slight cough. Left messages for Dr and nurse. My concern is that if patchy parenchymal shouldn't I be taking some medication. But feeling ok. Thank the Lord

Sounds like a complicated case that needs medical attention. If you start feeling worse don't hesitate to go to the ER.
