I’ve recently been diagnosed with Fuchs Dystrophy and wondered if anyone else in our community has had a similar diagnosis ? Pronounced Fox Dystrophy, it is when the corneal cells have a build up of fluid causing the cornea to swell and thicken causing vision to be blurred any misty. It is linked to age and autoimmune diseases

My husband has it and so does his sister. She has had two corneal transplants and is doing great. My husband seems like he won’t need a transplant now, if ever. It affects him a little bit right now…night driving, etc. I believe it is also hereditary.
My husband’s sister told him that it was an easy surgery if you ever need it, so hopefully that will ease your mind a bit. 😃
Best of luck to you!
Debra Leigh
Thanks
