I find Covid a bizarre virus. I have had 3 times , hospitalised once. I am in remission after stage 4 diagnosis in 2020. My wife last returned from a company business meeting in Malta attended by 500 employees. She and many of her work mates now in bed with Covid. This is the 4th time my wife has had covid. Bizarrely, I have no IgM, IgG if very low and neuts circa 1.6. I just don't understand why I don't catch it or infact any other infection in the with my 6 and 4 Yr olds.

Covid, strange beast.
Just embrace the peculiarity without becoming complacent Steve! I also have low immunoglobulins and faired better with Covid than many. Maybe you have Super T cells! 😉

Hi stevesmith1964,

I've had a similar experience to yours, when my wife got covid at an event I did not attend. We lived in the same house for the 7 days she tested positive but I did not get infected.

I recall several infectious disease experts explaining that the immune system is very complex and medical science doesn't yet completely understand all the different layers of defense and how they interact with each other. But those of us that had no or very limited detectable spike protein after a COVID-19 vaccination still had some protection from other parts of the immune system.

Hi Steve. I'm on W & W, and almost boasted that I had never contracted Covid, despite everyone I know copping it, and often twice! Well, that was until I returned from holiday last week, and -bang! - it came out of the blue! 😐So yeah, it's weird, ain't it?😁
