How bad does your Covid infection ihave to be before they issue the antivirals

I was refused yesterday !!!!!!😡

You should appeal. Treament is for when mild not wait till it is severe. Don’t minimise your symptoms tho. Was that the CMDU or someone you wanted to refer you to it?

Let's hope it helps some because I've read that it's not really efficient against the omicron variant.

Yes it does. Not with Omicron. Paxlovid is better. pills

You can’t have Paxkovid if you’re on Ibrutinib so couldn’t go down that route

Per this earlier discussion 2 months ago to which you contributed healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo... , it is possible to have Paxlovid with either a pause or reduction in your ibrutinib dose. That, of course, needs to be discussed with your CLL specialist.
