Booster antibodies publication coming soon

I met with my specialist today (Prof. Yair Herishanu, Israel) who said that they saw good results to the booster (We knew that anecdotally) and that he has already submitted the results for publication in The Blood journal.

They included approx 160 CLL patients in the study and as they did last time, they will provide results broken down by age and treatment status/type. Keep your eyes open for it!

He also stressed the importance of remaining vigilant whether or not we have antibodies. 👍🏻

I look forward to reading those results. Any rough idea when?

I live in my N95 masks when I leave the house, even for walks in the woods. I doubled N95 and surgical masks for recent doctor appointments where there are waiting rooms. I see no time in the near future that I will stop even if my booster/3rd dose finally gives me antibodies. I agree with your doctor's cautions.

I don’t know what the publication timelines look like but he said it’s already been submitted and I am guessing everyone is anxious for data on this one so it should be relatively soon. Fingers crossed!

Are you able to breathe with double N95?? I use them for all medical visits and they are a lot tougher than the surgical ones!

I like N95's better than the surgical masks for ease of breathing and the degree of reassurance that they provide. Maybe I am not hyperventilating from worrying about covid exposure. The only drawback is exercise exertion where I now plan to switch them out periodically for a fresh mask after my last workout pointed out problems. When I double it is one N95 with one surgical over. I don't think I could survive two N95's! Sorry if that wasn't clear.

I admit I am eager to read that, thanks for replying.
