It’s been nearly 5 months since my last Obinutuzimab and I will be getting my first Covid vaccine soon (Dr Lamanna wanted me to wait til the end of the summer, for a better chance of building antibodies).
I think I read here that the Moderna is better for us CLLers. I’m assuming it is because it has more of the main ingredient. Just wondering if there are more thoughts or data about that? My local CVS has the Pfizer and I don’t know if I should look around for the Moderna…
Thanks for any input!

Moderna has three times the mRNA than does Pfizer. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Right now some studies are showing Moderna holding up better against the delta variant. Moderna may have increased side effects. I've had 2 Pfizer. I was going to get a Moderna booster but since learning that my spleen is mildly enlarged I think I'm going to stick with Pfizer. yalemedicine.org/news/covid...
This article is really helpful, Astro, thank you. And your thoughts are exactly what I question: go with higher amount of mRNA, or go with less side effects?
Either way, ultimately at least I will finally be vaccinated…
