CLL and Vaccine response

Here’s a paper from Cold Spring Harbor about CLL patient antibody response from Pfizer - it admits its own limitations but the evidence is pretty stark so far - it’s severely attenuated and moreover patients may ultimately act act as incubators for new variants because of the possibility of long term infection.

When I saw my consultant at Kings London he said that we are protected by T cell response but that doesn’t mean we won’t get Cov 19. So a reminder to take enormous care . The Washington post article is a bit more optimistic !
