Advice please
Negative '-', just means below a (usually) common threshold for that measurement and positive '+' is above that threshold.

This recent post to a video interview with Dr. John Allen posted by memeber Bruckimwald should help you understand the significance of cd79B - and the fact that you should be pleased that your results show you to be negative (-).

Day123,
If I understood DR. John Allen correctly in the interview with Dr. Brian Koffman, The 79b expression is apparent even in normal observation, however, it is observed as being over expressed or as Neil stated "above a given threshold" when their is a present state of richters or DLBCL.
There is two underlying points implied in the interview that require some concentration interpretive analysis to validate. I believe that he implies 79b is not yet a prognostic indicator, yet the expression value might qualify it as a pathway target.
This guy says a mouthful in this 12 minute interview, and I find it difficult to define a clearly stated objective that represented 79b singularly.
