Hi All,

I'am in Owe about the knowledge and presenting all experiences in Regard to CLL.

I'am IB now since 4th of December. Had expected WBC to be decreased, but increased to 160.2 from 129.4.

Other Numbers do not show much of a betta showing.

RBC from 3.40 to 3.25

HEMAGLOBIN 101 to 93

RDW from 13.7 up to 16.7

Platelet count better from 100 to 116

Lymphocytes in creased from 116.5 to 157.6

Dear Members, anyone with some inside views?

Is it too early to see better changes?

Really appreciate your comments.

Truly,

Traudel, "change from imhimmel"

Hi Traudel

It's very usual for your ALC counts in your blood to increase initially on Ibrutinib. This is from the CLL cells in your lymph nodes being pushed out into your blood stream to die. If your lymph nodes have shrunk but your ALC levels are up, that's usual. It takes a few months for ALC levels in your blood to come back down with Ibrutinib - it works slowly but is very effective.
