Who we'll be hearing from on the day
Bloodwise researcher Dr Bela Wrench will be updating on some of the latest blood cancer breakthroughs over the past year.
Next up, Dr Martin Pule, who appeared in BBC’s War in the Blood documentary, will be talking to us about CAR-T therapies, a new treatment that programmes people’s own immune cells to attack their cancer cells.
You'll also hear from Dr Angela Hamblin, a blood cancer genomics expert, about how a person’s unique genetic code could shape their diagnosis and treatment.
Finally you'll hear from Mel Plumridge, a Bloodwise ambassador, who will tell us about his experiences of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL).
