FLOW CYTOMETRY

Hi, my husband 49 was diagnosed with MBL in 2018 April. Our hemototogyst wanted him to go for a flow cytometry last week. This is the report we got. We are seeing her in next week again. Can some one help us to read this report to prepare us for next meeting. Thanks

Given MBL (Monoclonal B Lymphocytosis) is a precursor to CLL, the positive result from this report is that no clonal lymphocytes were found, so it would appear that his diagnosis of MBL was either incorrect or it has resolved. In addition to asking about that, I think you'd like to know why your husband's lymphocyte count is still high and his spleen remains enlarged.

Thank you very much for your prompt response. This forum has helped me a lot to understand this desease, bcs it's very rare in Sri Lanka( where I come from). He doesn't have any other symptoms other than slightly enlarged Spleen and high lymphosyts. It's very disturbing that the doctors too don't have a clear answer. Thanks again We will ask the hemototogyst about the Spleen and raised lymphosyts count
