CLL can be related to eye and skin issues, but I suspect that your symptoms are more likely related to other causes. You should have an eye doctor check you for dry eye syndrome and other possible reasons for your eyes watering. CLL patients are advised to see a medically oriented (not a Botox pusher) dermatologist regularly for skin checks, as we are more likely to deal with skin cancers. You could combine that with a look at your dry skin issue. Your GP could also assess the issue.

Wow! I did not know about the dermatologist or the skin cancer part. My oncologist never said anything about either...

Katie, people with CLL have an 8 to 10 greater chance of developing skin cancer. No alarm needed but always check out any suspicious skin issues/marks and be careful in the sun.

Iv had a small skin cancer removed from my neck. Luckily not melanoma.

My skin has been dry and itchy. Iv been drinking 3 litres of water because Im taking Ibrutinib and my skin is great. Even my legs. I kept having eczema on them.

The quality of my tears was checked and found to not be lubricating the eye surface sufficiently. As a consequence, loads of ineffective tears were produced. A bit awkward, trying to talk to someone with tears streaming down your face.

I started using lubricating eye drops (available over the counter) and the watery eye issue stopped immediately.

I’m not sure that this is CLL related. Possibly just a consequence of age.

Yes; my eyes are often very watery, especially in the evening. Some mornings y eyelids are crusted and need cleaning. But there is no infection. I have told ophthalmologist and he says it is nothing to worry about - but next time I go I will talk more after your post. The dry skin on my upper arms is newish - I noticed it about 3 weeks ago, and it is softening with Double Base Gel. I had assumed it was due to me changing over to short sleeved clothes for the summer, rubbing the skin. I hope find the cause of your issues.

I never gave it a thought that the flood gates I experience in my eyes could be related to my CLL. No dry skin but watery eyes.
