Yes, same here. Discussed this with the hematologist. He casually mentioned that he can prescribe something....I said that I prefer to wait because I felt that perhaps anxiety I experienced in the last year could also play a role and I would look into that myself first. Take a holiday, sort out the pressure I feel in daily life. Be more relaxed. My bp was always 120-70, but with Ibrutinib it has raised till 150-160 and 90. Sometimes, especially just before I fall asleep I can feel my heart racing...

Take care.

I had a similar experience Yvonne,

There was concern about mine and I wore a monitor for a day and the top number averaged at 147 but my GP said it was only slightly raised and with no other co morbidities she didn’t want to add to my list of pills and I have my BP checked several times every month when I have my IVIG so it has been left and it’s coming back down again.

Yes, my bp inched upward slowly from 110/70 to 135/80. I’ve stopped taking IB since a week ago for a month or two. To see if side effects will go away.

Have you talked to your doctor about stopping that long? I believe studies have shown the breaks longer than a couple of weeks produce inferior results. I was on BP meds before starting IB and after a while the reading did go up some more. Just increased the BP dosage, which was effective.

Yes, it was my Dr suggestion to stop instead of going lower dosage. 🤔

Today my BP just came under control 123/73 and 118/70. It did go up to 179/80 because my sodium was low and they took away my hydrochlorthiazide, and where changing my meds. I am going into 4th month hopefully it isn't going to go up again.

Mine went up but after about 2 1/2 yrs on Imbruvica. Always had been on the low side my entire life until then. Was put on Losartan which had about 3 or more recalls for having cancer causing ingredients, which caused a scare for me. Now my BP is about 143/80 most of the time, and, not too long ago 140 was considered normal until "they" (whoever they are) changed it to 120..........did increase BP pill sales though!!
