Hi everyone am glad to be joining this forum. Was diagnosed about 8 months ago as i had cysts in my breast and a core biopsy revealed cll/sll. Obviously this was quite a shock as i felt really well. The good news is i had small signs of the disease in my chest stomach and groin but no where else, so i was on a watch and wait. Just been for another check up and i have swollen nodes in my head, neck, under arms and groin. Not massive lumps but noticeable and ache abit. I had none of these 8 months ago. The consultant is sending me for another ct scan. Should i be worried. 😯 Is this normal. Getting a bit paranoid now. Can anyone help.
Thank you scott. No havent had a FISH panel. To be honest haven't even heard of it. Will google it now. Also thanks for tip about 🔒 post. Xxx
Thank you scott for taking the time to reply and the information on FISH will ask about it at my next clinic app. Will take yr advice and will follow the uk friends. Wish u well take care xxxx
My feeling is if possible see at least 3 different doctors from different institutions. I don’t know where you live but there’re are top institutions in most major cities. If you tell me where you live I can make some suggestions but that will also come up I had a Google search There are many factors to look at before making a judgement on whether you should worry ...scans bloodwork and maybe a biopsy if needed.
I agree with Toothdoctor to get at least a second opinion especially if treatment is mentioned. You didn’t say that you had FISH so that would be necessary before any treatment. Keep us posted.
