PMR is a tough diagnosis at the best of times. Against the back drop of CLL makes for a clinically challanging duet.

One needs to appreciate how each condition affects the other, both sharing similar clinical symptoms, mediated but not dissimilar "immune" mechanisms.

Further, the treatment, immune suppression by prednisolone or other potent immune modulators, will affect the CLL. Not withstanding any increased vulnerability to infection.
