Sinus bradycardia

Hi ,due to start ibrutinib on Tuesday, had ecg today and now have sinus bradycardia ( slow heartbeat) will this prevent my treatment? Thanks for your help Martin

I do not know response.I have bradycardia,too.

Stacky, there is one (2017) case reported by NIH that deals with sinus bradycardia and Ibrutinib, It would be to your advantage to talk this over with your Dr. before any treatment (if you haven't already) and take a copy of this case..

I would be asking about other possible treatment also and explore with your Dr. (is your Dr. a specialist--or one who has had a lot of experience treating CLL pts.? There is also the possibility of getting a second opinion?

We are all different, and this case may be very different from yours, but it is widely reported that heart issues, esp. atrial fibrillation are Ibr related (some mild and not prolonged, others more serious)--I do not know how bradycardia of the sinus differs.
