Thank you . My mother now has a problem on her back so exercising is not very easy. She is drinking water (around 2 liters a day).

Thank you again!

Are you eating a high fiber diet? Kiwis are particularly high in fiber, and some say that even one kiwi a day can help keep things flowing. Artichokes, peas, broccoli and many other vegetables are also fiber rich. Eating a plant based diet, with lots of greens, lentils, beans, veggies, and fruits, while avoiding flesh, is the best way to speed up the processing of food in our intestines. Animal products and fat tend to sit around in the intestines, blocking the process.

It wasn't until I learned that most of the other patients in my Idelalisib clinical trial were experiencing constipation that I realized what a benefit my 40 years of eating vegetarian was. That benefit continues now on Imbruvica. Even as I write this, I am eating leftover salad for my breakfast: kale, Romaine lettuce, carrots, peppers, mango, avocado, chickpeas, tomato, in a dressing of Bragg's raw apple cider vinegar, pomegranate molasses and lime juice. Yum!

Of course, if you are already vegetarian, I am stymied. If you are not, do consider lots of greens and beans.

Not a vegetarian myself but I do find that cutting down on animal meat and fats certainly help in times of trouble.

I take a maintenence dose of lactulose daily and need to add senna tablets if I take any morphine based drugs.

If suffering from constipation, switching to the above type of diet works wonders ......
