Self-disinfecting mobile displays less than two years away?

Many of us are aware of how germ infested our mobile phones can become, so I was interested to read that a solution may be on the way:

While "less than two years away" is hardly a guarantee that we will actually see this come to market, it's encouraging that the company that is a major player in providing mobile device display glass is investing in this technology. Oh and it is also anti-glare, so will you be safe from your fellow theatre goers if you answer your new antiglare, antibacterial phone during a movie/performance?
