The UK Clinical Trials Gateway is an informative app for anyone - patients, carers, clinicians, academics, researchers, pharmaceutical professionals and students interested in clinical trials registered in the UK.

The UKCTG app is free and includes a portfolio of clinical trials running in the UK. You can filter your trial search by the public title, trial identifying number, health condition, location, interventions, recruitment status, registration date and who the study is funded or sponsored by.

Ive found the app for iphone to be troublesome - crashes when you try to define search criteria. Ill give the ipad version a try later.

I downloaded the app onto the iPad but haven't tried it out yet, so anything you discover about it's running, I'd appreciate knowing - handy hints etc.

I'm running on an iPad4 with OS 6.1.3 ....have had no problems, but I haven't stressed it much...
