My cancer appointment yesterday

Well I saw my cancer doctor yesterday. I had blood work and my white count is down again. I'm still anemic, its lower again, about 8.6 I think I dont remember exactly, anyway the doctor is checking my iron and he might give me an iron infusion. Of course it was Friday and so i wont hear until Monday. He doesnt understand why my whtie count keeps going down. He did tell me a story about a patient he had that it happened to the man too, and now his CLL is gone. The rest of the story is the man is 83 and has other prroblems now. Well of course I'm panicking now, cause thats the way I am, I'm 70 and an old woman. Lol

I know that anemia is your big concern, and I hope that does get addressed.

The WBC sounds mysterious, but much depends on the actual counts.

How low is your WBC, and what was it before?

What about the ALC (absolute lymphocyte count) and ANC (absolote neutrophil count)? If you only have a WBC and percentages of the others, we can tell you how to calculate it easily.
