I am on ibrutinib and receive it from a specialty pharmacy in the states.

Any time I take a medicine or supplement for the first time I call them and they have a pharmacist that checks first.

If you have that option I would call them.

Good luck with your cold.

I have spoken to my pharmacist and my oncologist about OTC meds also. The biggest issue with those medicines is that they may contain other components that act as a blood thinner. Those may make bleeding or bruising worse. That being said.. JUSTASHEET1 is correct. double-check with your doctor or pharmacist. We are all paying for their guidance and as my doctor told me,"I would rather you call me and take the time to ask rather than call me after there is a problem."

I hope it helps.

Thank you so much for responding. I just need some reassuring.

Just take care - you would not want to mask a fever with paracetamol, aspirin or an NSAID - all of which may be in such remedies.

Always check with your Docs!
