Thx for your reply... very helpful! I completed Gazyva treatment for CLL. I am meeting with my Urologist again soon. He has me on Finasteride 5 mg along with Tamsulosin 0.4 mg . In the last several days I have a slight pain in my bladder and must visit the can at least every hour. PSA test was done but I don’t know the results. It seemed that my urologic situation was improving but in the last week it has really tanked!!!!

Go to inspire forum and get educated. Seriously. The typical urologist does not have comprehensive knowledge of their field of practice, and many adhere to archaic standards of care. Good Luck!

My husband has the same problem with bathroom trips on the hour. He is seeing a urologist today. He has been taking tamsulosin and finasteride (sp)

What meds were you using? He has stopped the finasteride. He had a PSA today , no results yet.
