Still in the W andW mode. My WBC are increasing every appointment and my platelets are decreasing. Have enlarged lymph nodes sand a lot of fatigue. I just started having lower back pain curious if others have had this complaint. Thanks

Ninagram,

I've been on w+w since 2009. My WBC is around 43000. My lymph nodes are constantly swollen and get worse during black fly season. My count bounces up and down a bit and this is the highest it's been. I take vitamin D and eat fruit every day. Everyone is different. My mom had CLL for over 25 years and lived to 85. She did have chemo from time to time, she went down hill after a terrible case of shingles. I got the shingles vaccine to be safe. Not sure if a doctor would recommend for someone with cll but it did not bother me. Best of luck!

Hi Ninagram,

Once my WBC was over 25000 it continued to climb. The fatigue was awful and my neck nodes were noticeable. It took over a year before my WBC to reach over 100k and Mt rbc and platelets to drop. That's when I decided to start treatment. I did experience the back pain, but it was unrelated to my CLL. Massages have worked wonders for me. I hope you can get some relief.

Take care,

Kim
