My baby gone through with the KASAI procedure. She was only 10weeks and 1day old.can anybody tell me was a KASAI be successful for years?

Hi my 13 year old daughter had it at 14 weeks, which was late. She nearly didn't recover, but then did, and is fit and well so far with few long term problems. It is a frightening time, but ask lots of questions from your medical support team, they are the experts. Best of luck for the future.

Yes a Kasai can be successful. My son is a young man of 25 and doing really well.
