What is the Starting Dose of Cholestagel?

I have finally started on this. Had to go to my GP and he has prescribed 1 tablet (625 mg). I think this is because the lipid clinic told me 2 !

Alarmed to discover that some drug sites are saying you can take 6 a day. Could anyone tell me what dose they started on?

Thanks Rueben. I know that there are some other bloggers out there who are on Cholestegal. The thought of taking 6 alarms me a bit, as they are big tablets. They also cost 58p a tablet if you had a private prescription. Makes even £7.65 look like good value.
