The urea level is part of the renal function tests which everyone taking statins should have to check their kidney function. Mine was 6.8 last time and nobody said anything.

When you say serum chloride do you mean serum sodium (often just put Na ) on blood test results, but reference range is 136-145mmol/L. This is also part of kidney function..often abbreviated to RFT's on results.

As Architect says, I know the ranges but wouldn't know what was the reason behind abnormal levels.

Serum sodium 140. First time have had any results so interested in them, apart from one obtained in 2010 when potassium was low and not mentioned by surgery. Thanks for reply.

That's fine! The lipid clinic always sends me a print out, which I study with interest. I always ask now for a print out of every test result for me and my disabled daughter, then at least I kow what I'm doing. Usually no hassle at all.

Hi, Surgery not used to me asking for copied result or med records, rekon they wonder why. Its because have just found out I can have info, pleased about what is going on now re scans etc., with understandable detales.
