I have been on 10 mg daily of ezetimibe for 3 months and my overall cholesterol level remains the same at 6.2! Has anyone else found this drug ineffective?

I could not take it caused me to pee blood .
Yes....I've been on it for over a year and from my last blood test my cholesterol has gone up instead of down. My chemist said normally ezetimibe is normally prescribed along with a statin..
Thanks for replying. Statins caused me dreadful side effects so GP now prescribed taking bempedoic acid as well. Hopefully the combination will work!
I stopped taking ezetimbe after this warning recalls-rappels.canada.ca/e...
