Hi everyone hope you're all as well as you can be. So 1 month ago I was diagnosed with A.Fib, spent 36hrs in hospital getting it sorted out. I'm on blood thinners and beta blockers now. Could my high cholesterol have caused this and if so is there anything I can do to stop it happening again. TY xx
A.Fib: Hi everyone hope you're all as... - Cholesterol Support
A.Fib
I have a fib also what did the doctors tell you to do.
Take my meds and hope they help, was basically what they said. I'm waiting for an echogram which may or may not tell them more. I've had 1 more episode since starting the meds which lasted about 20mins just, so I'm hopeful the meds are doing their job
Once you have it I was told by Cardiologist it never goes It has to be managed It has taken me a couple of tears but I have it under control for now. I was told to get as light in weight as possible so the heart has less to do on that side Cholesterol needs to be at a good level too and dirt has helped on that I just don't eat the things I would love We have to chose our hard but to me uts worth it nit to have the heart racing. Anxiety can be managed to it's taking a few years to learn it all 😊
I was basically told the same thing. Fortunately weight isn't a problem for me, not yet anyway, I keep it in check to the vest of my ability. I believe its the risk of stroke that's the worry and the blood thinners should help there. Onwards and upwards I suppose keeping calm all the way 💞
Yes if at risk it's best Beta blockers I was told only take when heart racing not all the time Diet essential No inflammatory food and walk daily I'm just back from a brisk daily 40 minute walk Apparently it hives your heart a real good work out I drink a pint of green tea with fresh mint and overall 2 litres of fluid daily Heart needs & circulatory system a lot if work to keep us alive so must give the body what it needs Like a plant it needs nourishment
I have to take a beta blocker and a blood thinner daily. At the minute anyway. Perhaps its until I've had the echo ❤️
Yes This is so I think My case is different so you need to go by what your Cardiologist directs Look after yourself though and do research on your condition
