Hello and thank you for your question.

Rosuvastatin (Crestor) and bisoprolol (beta-blocker) can both cause anxiety and the inability to get a good night sleep, as a result.

I went through this as well following my bypass surgery 4 years ago.

To make a very long story short, one medication will cause a side-effect that will require another medication to correct the side-effect, but will then have another unwanted side-effect and so on and so on, until you're taking a fistful of medications every day.

There is only one final resolution - a permanent dietary and lifestyle modification to resolve the source of your cardiovascular disease.

You can read my reply to another person here:

I stopped all medications 18 months after my bypass surgery after changing my diet and lifestyle and normalizing my weight. Every medical issue I had previously was resolved.

You can do it too, if you want to.

Good luck.

P.S. you can look up my historical posts if you want to follow my journey which was documented on this health forum between 2016 and 2018.

I have trouble sleeping too due to different reasons.

However whenever I put drops of lavender oil (good brand) on my pillow and rub it into my lower arms, hands and under my nose I sleep a lot better. I was sceptical of it at first but my husband swears by it and persuaded me to try it. It does help but not always as the nerve pain sometimes is too bad and wakes me but it’s worth a try as Diazepam will at first help but then you have to increase the dose all the time to get the benefit.

I'm on 10 mg Diazepam 3 times a day they help during the day for anxiety and panic attacks, but having bad arthritis nothing helps me sleep more than 3 hours a night. Naproxen doesn't lessen the pain, Tramadol did and I slept well but the combination of both made me feel unsafe to drive so I stopped taking the Tramadol. I wish they would legitimise Majorana, I maybe could get some pain relief, and sleep.
